The
USCG Auxiliary Guam extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the
family of USCG Auxiliarist Robert Duncan, husband of Auxiliarist Hilda Duncan.
Robert and Hilda have conducted effective vessel safety checks for
decades.
Rosaries
for Robert Duncan are now being said nightly at 1930 (7:30 PM) at St. Francis’s
Church in Yona Village. They will continue until Sunday, Feb. 26 for the
public, after that date, only family members are invited to the Rosaries.
Robert’s
funeral and internment will take place on Saturday, March 4 at St. Francis’s
Church in Yona Village. Viewing will begin at 0900 and the funeral mass will
begin around 1100.
The
Flotilla leadership is planning to provide a wreath of flowers in memory of his
service to the Auxiliary. Flotilla members wishing to attend any event
associated with Robert’s passing (Rosary or funeral) are encouraged to attend
in the Auxiliary Tropical Blue uniform. Robert will always be remembered.
