USCG and USCGAUX Snapshots at UOG’s 50th Charter Day

Kudos goes out to the USCG and USCG Auxiliary for their participation in the University of Guam’s 50th Charter Day celebration on March 13, 2018!  They engaged with students, visitors and others at UOG's College of Natural and Applied Sciences.  Petty Officer Vinnie DiMauro and Seaman Tamera Rex showcased the Station's USCG vessel by having children on-board and talking about the USCG Missions and Roles.

The USCG Auxiliary team, including Hilda Duncan, Rudy Salas and Debbie Weger manned the static displays, gave presentations on the importance of having PFDs while on the water and having all the other required equipment while on a vessel and how important these individual gear and equipment can save their lives and others.  They further reminded families who planned on going out on the waters to make sure they are equipped with the proper safety gear and equipment.  Si Yu’os Ma’ase’ to all!
